Welcome to Catoosa..."Our Hometown"
As Mayor and on behalf of the City of Catoosa, I would like to take a few moments of your time to extent a warm and neighborly welcome to each and every new resident and business to our community.
Catoosa is our hometown, and we invite you to be a part of our future. We are a community that values its tradition, recognizes contributions of the past, and plans for the future.
The Port of Catoosa, the furthest inland navigation channel in the United States, is located only one and one-half miles north of the City of Catoosa. We are one of Oklahoma's fastest growing communities with a sound economic foundation and a great potential for large-scale economic and industrial growth, however, we take the time to pride ourselves in maintaining a small-town community atmosphere in which we live.
We have a friendly, family oriented City Council, City Staff, Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Medical Department and Parks Board who are eager to serve you in a friendly, professional manner. We stand by to listen to your ideas and concerns. We are proud to show our city to visitors and newcomers, and welcome them as new residents in one of the most progressive cities in Oklahoma.
On behalf of our entire community, welcome to our hometown of Catoosa, a great place to live, work and raise a family.
Rita Lamkin, Mayor
City of Catoosa
